To propagate a snake plant from a leaf, start by selecting a healthy leaf from an established plant. Cut the leaf into sections, making sure each section has a portion of the stem attached. Allow the cuttings to dry for a few days before planting them in a well-draining potting mixture.  After the cuttings have developed roots, repot the plant into a larger pot with fresh potting mixture for continued growth.

Here is some point for how to grow snake plant from  leaf : 

1.Choose a strong and healthy leaf from the present snake plant.

2.Cut the leaflets using a sharp, well sanitizer tool:

⚫️Single leaf method : Cut the whole leaf from the bottom of the plant base 

⚫️Multiple plant methods : Cutting of the leaf Horizontally into 2-3 inch partition with a node (Growth eye) In each of section.

3.Let the cut ends of callous place in a cool and dry place with indirect light for a day or two. This helps in prevention of rot .

4.Fill the small pots (2-3 inch diameter) with well draining potting mixture with cactus /succulent mix works very well. 

5.Planting of the leaf cutting :Make a hole and insert the calloused end part (Pour in rooting harmone powder if it’s required) and bury it half…. With single method 

6.Water  the soil sparingly to lightly moisten it without saturating it

7.Provide good but indirect sunlight do not expose it to harsh sunlight. 

8.Water accordingly and only when soil is dry. 

9.Its take time so be patient! Rooting take weeks to month for growth. 

10.Repot the settled plant into a larger pot with filling of the fresh potting mixture .
